I met Mallorie through Storenvy.com and have sponsored her blog several times! She is such a sweetie, an aspiring photographer and creator, and her husband Dave Owens is an up-and-coming musician (whose music you can check out here). Mallorie puts a lot of time, effort and love into each of her creations and it definitely shows! You can see her passion in each piece, right down the the way it is photographed, the angles and lighting. Very lovely shop indeed, be sure to check it out!
Let's talk Fall with Mallorie!
Do you have any special seasonal items in your shop?
I have a few fall prints and a fall fabric headband in the shop now! Hoping to add a few Halloween items soon. :)
What is your favorite thing about
Autumn?
My favorite thing about Autumn is the gorgeous leaves as they
change colors and the crisp Fall air.
What are you dressing up as for
Halloween? How about your
kids (if you have them)?
I'm dressing up as a pirate, as I have for the
past couple of years! And I can't wait until I have some kiddos of my
own to dress up, but for now I'll just admire the cuties that
trick-or-treat at our place.
Do you decorate for Autumn/Halloween? How?
Autumn/Halloween are my favorite things to decorate for! I have lots of
pumpkin/leaf decorations that I place throughout our place. I love the
homey and organic feel/look to the Fall decorations.
What was your most epic Halloween
costume?
Hmm...I'd have to go with the Jasmine costume my Mom made me
when I was in 2nd grade. :) She did such a wonderful job putting it
together and sewing it all up and I really appreciated all the hard work
she put into it. We still have it in the dress up box that is now in
her storage just waiting for grandkids. ;)
What is your favorite thing about
Halloween?
I love it all! The scary movies, cute trick-or-treaters in
their adorable costumes, and pigging out on candy! What's not to love?
What is your favorite Halloween
candy?
Oh man, I'm a chocoholic, so as long as it has chocolate in it
I'm sure to love it. My new favorites are all of the UNREAL candies,
they don't have high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors,
preservatives, or any of those other nasty things that most candies
have...plus they are delicious! My husband and I can't get enough of
them.
What about Autumn/Halloween inspires
you in your crafty
business?
The cooler weather has helped my husband and I be more
productive in all areas of our life. Here in Austin the summer is long
and HOT so we're finding relief in the Fall temperatures. I'm also
inspired by the gorgeous colors that start to appear outside...so much
beauty!

Isn't Mallorie just awesome?! Feel free to hit her up on Twitter or Facebook - she always loves making new friends!
What is your favorite hot drink?
Hard to.choose just one hot drink. I usually switch it up between coffee hot tea and hot caramel apple cider
ReplyDeleteoh, fun stuff! One hot drink? Well, it's a toss up between Mexican Hot Chocolate and Coffee! :)
