So close!

Yesterday, I noticed I was only a few orders from hitting a big milestone in my online shop.

300 orders!

What?! How did this sneak up on me? How did I ever come so far with Mon-stors?! 

When I started making Mon-stors I don't think I ever really planned to even have an online store. I think I just thought I would wing it with craft shows. But in April of 2010, after six months of selling Mons-tors through word of mouth and craft shows, I learned about Storenvy.com and decided to take the plunge. I mean, it's free, you can customize it, and you can have unlimited listings - I figured what was there to lose? 

April 10th, 2010, Lu & Ed hit the web. And in two and a half years, here I am, just five orders away from the big 3-0-0! It blows my mind - and humbles me. I never expected to go so far with my creative business. I have learned so much in the last two and a half years selling on Storenvy, and I have all of you to thank for that! I tried to count up total monster adoptions since I started three years ago but I lost count around five hundred. 

FIVE HUNDRED. That's round about how many Mon-stors, stuffed monsters, and monster totes have been adopted since October 2009.

And all I can say is.. Wow. Thank you. Thank you to everyone who ever adopted a monstrous creation from me, and thank you to everyone who has supported me on this this journey. You have taken me further than I could ever have imagined when I started this creative venture 3 years ago, and I love you all for it. ♥ 

That's why to celebrate The Big 300, I want to give back to all of you! Once I break 300 orders on Storenvy, I will have a big site wide sale to celebrate! And the lucky 300th monster order will get an extra monster in their order - a plush in their choice of custom colors! ♥
