This week has been awesome! Here are some of the highlights!!! :)
The best part of the week? My son turned 7 years old today!
I am so proud of this kid. ♥ He is the reason for Lu & Ed, for everything I do. We are celebrating his birthday tonight with strawberry cupcakes and a Minecraft slumber party with friends!:D
Trace and I spent some quality time last night (until 12am) putting together G's new bunk beds for his birthday. G was more than thrilled with this gift, as you can see in the picture. :) I felt like I was on HGTV doing a big reveal or something. ;)
(1. Yes, those are pink sheets on the top bunk, it's his favorite color. :) 2. On the back of the door, you can see some of my very, very primitive Mon-stors from 2009! Still holding up great after three years of daily use!)
In shop news, earlier this week I hit 300 orders in my Storenvy.com shop! SUCH a huge and exciting milestone for luanded.com! You guys are awesome! When I first started out 3 years ago, I never would have imagined I'd be celebrating 300 orders the same time as my 3 year monster making anniversary. ♥ I set up a big sale in my shop for $3.00 off all orders over $15 to celebrate and wow! I almost sold out of everything in my shop! Thank you all so much for the support!!! I love every minute of this and am so thankful for all of you who helped me reach 300 orders and who helped me celebrate by sharing Lu & Ed with your friends and family. You are the people who make dreams come true. ♥ Thank you!
Here's a few of Mon-stors I made this week that were adopted during the sale. :)
And to top off this already sweet week, as a surprise to celebrate hitting 300 orders, my friend Kim from Sweetsies sent me a super sweet package - a box full of cookies from her bakery! They are ALL delicious, but my favorite from the sampler is the Rolo stuffed Devil's food cake cookies. Oh. My. Word. Guys, they are so good. Microwave them for 10 seconds and enjoy the warm gooey chocolately awesomeness with a cup of coffee. :) Wonderful.
I also got my monster tee from Cutesy But Not Cutesy this week! She was selling them last week for $15, with 100% of proceeds going to disaster relief on the East Coast. :) Supporting a great cause while getting a monster tee from one of my favorite artists? Epic win.
I hope you have had a great week as well. :) Starting tomorrow I will be back in the studio creating - I have a super special monster tote to make for a friend to ship out Monday. :) Can't wait to show you all! :) Have a wonderful weekend! I know I will!
You have had an awesome week!!!!! :) Happy Birthday to G! His face is so full of excitement, I absolutely love it. Kim's cookies are delicious and I know I have told you this already but I'm so happy for you on hitting 300 sales! :)
ReplyDelete♥♥♥ Thank you, Kristina!! You are so sweet! And I gave my very last Rolo stuffed cookie to my friend Jessica - ordering more of them this week, I AM HOOKED! Thank you so much for connecting me with Kim! She is so sweet (literally)!
