Time to get ready for this move!

Guess who finally started packing for their big move today? Yeah, this girl!

I have been avoiding the packing and last minute cleaning like it's the plague, but we just found out this morning that we don't have to wait until we close on our house to move to SC - they are willing to let us rent from them until the closing! Which means as soon as they are in their new home, we can move right in! 

At this time, I'm not sure exactly when that will be, because they are still in the process of securing a place, but they mentioned tentatively the beginning of August.  Which is soon. Real soon.

So today I finally broke down and started packing. Between me and my six year old we were able to get half of his room packed up and sort out a big box of toys to donate, and we listed a few bigger things we don't need anymore on Craigslist. I think G's room is cleaner than it has been since we moved in. 

While I know I'm probably going to regret it since we will are trying to adjust to our new schedule, I am going to be pulling some late nights sewing Mon-stors up until the day I have to pack my studio up. I want to push through as much of my fabric stash as possible before the move because right now, it's a giant furry mess, and to be honest, I don't feel like sorting it all out and packing it.
